ClaimLynx, Inc.

The Client Implementation Specialist is responsible for writing scripts and processes executed by the Batch Processor to convert and process claim data. This individual must be able to work closely with our development and IT teams to integrate their scripts into our existing infrastructure, in addition to expanding and growing our systems to meet new mandates and regulations.

Duties Include:

Write unix shell scripts to parse and process claim data with utilities including:
- grep
- awk
- sed
Assist with implementation of new clients
Interact with programmers to design new systems and build new capability.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong Personal Computer Skills
Strong Unix Commands (search for text in a file, replace text in a file, parse text and output formatted strings)
Familiarity and understanding of SQL databases and concepts
Basic understanding of healthcare EDI files and claim formats.
Problem solving.
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, medical claim data
Associate or Bachelor degree.
