System Administrator
ClaimLynx Inc is looking for an entry-level System Administrator to assist in maintaining a network of FreeBSD servers and some cisco equipment. Although the primary responsibilities are regarding FreeBSD administration, there is also a large amount of PHP development work available.
Requirements:
- Unix or Linux experience. You must be comfortable at a command line.
- Networking experience.
- Firewalling experience. We use PF, but any experience will do.
- PHP, Perl, and general scripting experience.
- The ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly. we are far more interested in the right person than the right skill set.
Desirable:
- Cisco VPN
- PHP, C, C++, Perl
- MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Apache 2
- Bind 9
- OpenLDAP
- OpenVPN 2
- SVN
- Degree in computer science or related field.
